Term 1 DLO – Jaxson @ Pt England School

This is my completed DLO for term 1.We had to do some research about the reasons why my family came to New Zealand. I have also shared my Mihi/Pepeha in Tongan.

Great voice which covered your pepeha/mihi, information about your family and how they came to be in NZ and in Pt England. Well done for persevering, listening to feedback and then improving your DLO on time for a great result. Well done.

About Me | Ko Wai Ahau

Malo e lelei, my name is Jaxson and I’m in Room 4 at Pt England School. My teacher is Mrs Lagitupu. Im Tongan and Fijian! I have 3 brothers, two of them come to Pt England school. My oldest brother just finished College as a matter of fact and is now heading to university. I live with both my parents, my 3 brothers, my Nana and one of my cousins. I also play lots of sports such as soccer, which is one of my favourites, rugby and more!

I like playing video games and sports. My favourite game probably has to be Rocket league and my favourite sport is Soccer. I enjoy playing soccer because most of the game is non contact. I also like listening to music and spending time with family. I also like to write stories in my free time. Overall I like to spend time with my family more, because nothing matters more than them.

I also want to become a prefect when I become a year 8. I’d like to become a prefect so I can be a good role model for my younger siblings and the kids at Pt England School. I also hope to be a full time football player in the future. I’d like to become a football player because I think the sport is really energetic and fun. I’d also like to become a teacher when I get older so I can teach children how to be a good role model.
